GSM016 4G is Geca's new 4G/GSM modem designed for the remote disconnection of power generation systems, ideal for photovoltaic and wind applications. A reliable, immediately operational solution for remotely managing system disconnection upon command from the energy distributor, ensuring safety, operational continuity and technical compliance.
Thanks to communication via the 4G network, the device can receive and execute remote disconnection commands quickly and automatically, without the need for on-site intervention. This reduces response times and improves system management, especially in applications requiring responsiveness and constant control in compliance with current regulations.
GSM016 4G features a scalable architecture: it uses the 4G network when available and automatically switches to the GSM network otherwise.
The modem is equipped with a slot for a standard SIM card (provided by the network operator), 1 relay output for the disconnection command and 1 clean-contact alarm input for monitoring the system status. It features an integrated antenna; alternatively, a remote 4G/2G antenna is available on request, providing even better signal quality in critical installations.
Easy to configure, ready to use
GSM016 4G configuration is extremely intuitive thanks to the dedicated GECAPP app, available for smartphones. The guided interface enables quick device programming, making it easy to use during both installation and maintenance.
Authorised users, commands and operating logic can be managed simply and securely, making the modem a practical tool for both installers and system operators.
