GAMMA 654/656 Gas leak control unit and remote detector with optical-acoustic alarm and relay

Methane-LPG Gas Detection System GAMMA Series

The gas detection system consists of the GAMMA 654-O/M control panel (for methane gas) or GAMMA 654-O/G (for LPG gas) and the following remote detectors:

• GAMMA 656C/M for Methane gas
• GAMMA 656C/G for LPG gas

The 654-O/M and 654-O/G control panels signal the presence of gas in the environment by means of visual and audible alarms. They are designed to operate both as a control unit (control panel) and as a standalone remote detector, offering maximum installation flexibility.

The GAMMA 656C/M and 656C/G remote detectors can be connected to the GAMMA 654-O/M or 654-O/G control panel in unlimited numbers, allowing multiple areas to be protected with a single system.

All GAMMA series detectors are calibrated to activate at 10% of the L.E.L. (Lower Explosive Limit). This threshold may vary depending on environmental conditions; however, it will not exceed 15% of the L.E.L. during the first 4 years of operation.

After this period, or if the “FAULT” LED lights up, the device must be taken out of service and replaced with a new unit.
